Author Silver Ray was born in Frankfurt Germany, but raised on the west side of Detroit Michigan. Raised in a single parent home she knows the true meaning of sacrifice. Silver Ray started writing at the tender age of thirteen and never stopped. She started with poetry, and then moved on to music. Rapping was her outlet and she wrote constantly. Music was her way to speak to the minds and hearts of others. Silver wrote her best piece ever called (I'm a Writer). It was that song that sealed the deal. Silver move up and challenged herself when she wrote her first stage play (Looking for the Wrong Man). It was an success. Tragedy struck and Silver lost her will to write. Realizing she had to come out of the depression she was in she picked up her pen again. In 2010 she released her first book In Real Life. That was the beginning of it all. Following her dreams she is ready for the world to experience her mind heart and soul.
