Finest LyfeStyle's { EMF Black }

better known as EMF Black was born in Queens, New York. At the age of 16, he was part of a rap group dubbed FELLOWMAN. Due to creative differences, he went on to explore a solo career and successfully opened up for Cash Money’s very own, Juvenile for 3 shows both in North and South Dakota. EMF which stands for Every Man Fears Black (former name EMFinite Black) produced his own crew from New York who were known as The MARXMEN.
As the male half of the first ever male/female rap duo, Blacksteelz went on to win showcases he entered in the tri-state area and took home “Best Rap Duo of the Year” at the Underground Music Awards. The duo volunteered and performed for such organizations as Lifebeat’s Hearts and Voices, coordinated Christmas events with Toys 4 Tots and raised awareness for breast cancer within their community. In 2012, EMF BLACK's single "Believe" featuring Lashawn Wright was produced by Canei Finch and was nominated for song of the year establishing him as a 2 time winner of the "Get Your Buzz Up" Showcase hosted by J Hatch. It was during this time where his son was murdered while attending The Underground Music Awards whom he waited for to arrive.
EMF Black made a name for himself while performing as Blacksteelz in the independent circuit having performed at venues such as Madison Square Garden (NYC), Crash Mansion (NYC), The Triad (NYC), SOB’s (NYC), Webster Hall (NYC), The Times Square Arts Center (NYC), Southpaw (Brooklyn, NY), Von King Park (Brooklyn, NY) with 98.7 Kiss FM, BB King’s (NYC), Sputniks (Brooklyn, NY), and more throughout the U.S. He also performed with such artists as Graph, Sha Stimuli, Naughty by Nature, ICE T, Mr. Cheeks, Craig G, Smif n Wesson (Tek n Steele), and Faith Evans while with Blacksteelz. After 4 years together, in March of 2011, Blacksteelz decided to part ways.
As CEO of JADAS RECORDINGS, which was established in November 2010, for urban apparel HOODTUFF CLOTHING, E.M.F. Black is honing his business skills. In the midst, EMF has been paving his way through the streets by appearing on up and coming DJ’s mix tapes such as DJ LEXX, DJ TORRES, DJ PF CUTTIN, and is also making his rounds to labels and on the streets selling his mixtapes titled “Trialz & Tribulationz”.

From the New York underground circuits to other parts of the country, many have felt the presence of EMF Black, which he calls “a mixed pot of gumbo”. The ladies love him like LL Cool J, he keeps it gutter like Buckshot da BDI, with tales as flashy as Slick Rick’s. Audiences that have seen his performances realize that they have been treated to a hip-hop show the way it was meant to be and is filled with passion and respect for the past and those who paved the way for him.

Geared up and ready to keep his name in the mouths of his fans EMF Black appeared on 4 internet radio shows in a week declaring himself as the next premier solo rap artist. They included “The Air It Out Show” on SarFM.com, “The Morning Madness Show” on DTFRadio.com, “SSG Booth” on Stickam.com, and his own takeover show on “Promo Radio 24/7” ondamatrixstudios.com.
He dropped another mixtape called “NOMOREWAITIN" on datpiff.com to give his fans a taste of what he's been working on until he dropped the long awaited album titled “Gotta Be Big” the album was later released late 2013.
Through his trials and tribulations in the music industry, he maintained his focus and acquired knowledge of the music and entertainment industry along the way. With that in mind, he continued to do most of his bookings for various appearances. A jack of all trades, EMF Black produced concerts (BLACKSTEELZ N FRIENDS annual concert) as well as co-hosted internet radio shows on “The MARXMEN Radio” and “It’s A GO RADIO”. He continues to build his craft as an actor, an artist and also operates as a freelance barber.
He believes never give up on your dreams because at anytime you will succeed and with so much more to accomplish both on stage and off.
