SMOKE STACKS
Born Rodney Carter from the City of Detroit, Michigan. This rapper named Smoke Stacks was a musically inclined child of a good strong family surrounded in poverty. Smoke Stacks got in trouble early in life. After a prison sentence at age 17 he started writing rhymes.
With the repercussions of the grind of living in Detroit he entered prison 3 more times. Writing rhymes was second to Making money and surviving. Becoming a father for the first time in 2010 while serving his last sentence really inspired Stacks to become a success. He decided to take his craft seriously.
After being released in 2012, Smoke Stacks hit the streets running. He consumed his time by Doing his Music, Going to school for Business and Working. After finding producers and studio time and beats, he released Rare Breed vol. 1 on the internet. From there he's been giving his fans and the streets True and Real Hip Hop. You can hear his struggle, the blood sweat and tears and his ups and downs in every song. Check him out and you be the judge!
